Course Format

Program specific courses include seventy two (72) hours of study and in addition to this, to be able to fulfill the requirements of the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree; students must complete twenty one (21) hours in general education. In 24 months, full-time students following the suggested curriculum can complete the entire course. Students are only allowed the maximum of 36 months to complete this degree program based on their full-time status.

The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Radiologic Technology degree program trains graduates for entry-level employment as a radiologic technologist. Radiologic technologists, or radiographers, are highly skilled professionals qualified by education to perform imaging examinations and accompanying responsibilities at the request of physicians qualified to prescribe and/or perform radiologic procedures. Admissions Requirements

To all the students who have successfully completed a program of secondary education or equivalent (GED), they are eligible for admission to the AAS in Radiologic Technology program. Please submit the entrance requirements which include one of the following:

  • 20 or above ACT composite score

  • Required passing score on the Argosy University Entrance Exam
    900 or above combined score on the Math and Verbal SAT

  • A minimum written TOEFL® score of 500 (paper version), 61 (Internet version) or 173 (computer version), is also required for all the applicants who has a non-English native language or to those who have not graduated from a university or college at which English is the language of instruction.

Due to the extremely high level of competition between all the applicants, Argosy University’s Twin Cities campus established criteria to pin point applicants for admission acceptance. The Admissions Committee and the liaison of the different departments of Argosy University’s Twin Cities campus will be in charge of evaluating all the applicants. To the applicants who will not be included in the accepted list, watch out for the wait list and hope for the best. Final decisions regarding point total and acceptance into the program are made by the Admissions Committee at Argosy University’s Twin Cities campus.
