Radiography Program Mission
The Spencerian College, through its Radiologic Technology course, aims to equip
its students with the expertise and proficiency needed in order to competently
carry out the responsibilities of an entry-level Radiologic Technologist in
which everything is made possible by a scientific and dynamic learning
environment.
Radiography Program Goals
The objective of this program is to produce competent graduates in this
scientific field and cultivate their critical thinking and ability to
communicate and solve problems in order to adequately comply with the
community's needs and theirs as well. Professors in the program help by
encouraging students to strive for continuous studies and professional growth by
engaging in the Spencerian Radiography Student Body and local professional
community, together with participation in the board meeting of the Radiography
Program Advisory.
Spencerian Radiography Program
The program includes getting instruction on the appropriate application of
ionizing radiation in order to come up with the right medical diagnosis while
also emphasizing on the proper equipment use to ensure quality patient safety
and care. The course also incorporates theory and competency-based education
together. A number of resources are used in the improvement of the radiography
program; this includes the ASRT Radiography Program, ARRT Radiography didactic
and clinical competency requirements and Content Specifications for Radiography
Examination. Lectures in both didactic and clinical radiologic technology are
available in morning sessions, although there can also be some available evening
clinical schedules.
The JRCERT or Joint Review Committee on Education in
Radiologic Technology has certified the radiography program by virtue of the
Standards for an Accredited Educational Program in Radiological Sciences
(Standards).
Graduates of the course receive eligibility to take
the Registry Examination provided by the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologist. Once the examination is successfully completed, graduates are then
allowed employment in entry-level positions such as radiographers in the field
of healthcare delivery.
The Radiologic Technology Program is different from
the LXMO or Limited X-ray Machine Operator Program. They are two distinct
curriculums and each presents students with a different career opportunity.

Being a graduate of the Spencerian College, I can say that
I have been given the proper training and experience I needed in order to make me well-prepared for
my career. The school's facilities are one of the best, and the studying environment allows the
students to focus well on their lectures and activities. One of things I really like about this
college is that the professors are able to personally check on their students' progress, especially
since the class size is just the right number. The schedules of the lectures and other academic
activities are also very flexible; and since I am a working student at that time, I was able to
balance my work and studies well.

At Spencerian College, they take good care of their students and really provide
them with excellent quality education and training that would really help you in your pursuit of a
decent career or profession. The professors are one of the great things I can say about Spencerian
College, everyone of them really takes time to guide you step by step in all your lectures and
activities, thereby making learning a very pleasurable experience; I didn't even notice that time
flew so fast and now I've graduated! And now that I am working in a reputable company, I can always
look back at my Alma Mater knowing that it is through them that I am experiencing the success that I
have right now.

Spencerian College is very well known for the quality of their education and highly
competent staff. And although I must honestly say that their tuition fees are quite expensive, I
didn't really think of it anymore as I progressed through my course. Their program outline is very
detailed, always aimed in getting the best results possible, especially with their very professional
members of the faculty. I loved how the way they made things so much easier for me to comprehend.
And even now that I already practicing my chosen profession, I still am getting advice and guidance
from my mentors as well from the college itself.
